Like a cold spirit on a moonless night stood the dark crow with foresight. A crack, snap, followed by a tap, tap, tap from high above turned into a loud caw, caw, caw. The leaves shifted as the figure descended, on the cool path well below, the figured was well attended with the softened glowing light of a silver lamp.
