I don't really have the free time as much but I miss it. I think I'll post a few new works in progress for now...

So I'm never on DA for 3 reasons, I don't have any art friends nearby to show stuff too so I don't draw much anymore, I've been focusing more on programming, I'm too much of a perfection to even look at my work on DA because my DA work is much worse than my regular drawings. And I don't see art being of a part of my life much anymore. I do think I'll be uploading some stuff but ...I don't know I'll be gloomy about it. I need to meet more artists, I really miss hanging out with artistic friends.

Eyepatch guy

4 min read
Yesterday, I saw, this guy. He was standing in the middle of street waiting to cross the road. I recall he was was wearing dark clothes and I think he had black hair. Of course anyone standing in the street looking like that would seem pretty normal except he was around forty-five or so wearing a black eye patch. He might have been Mexican or maybe some type of Asian, not to be offensive but they can look alike from a distance. He had tan skin and short hair I think was spiked slightly or maybe it was just messy. Don't know. I was just somewhat surprised to see a guy with an eye patch. It's not super common in America unless your dressing up and well, this guy was wearing normal clothes, a black and white hoodie and jeans. Of course being in the "bad" side of town makes it more likely to see interesting characters like him. It's quite silly what is considered the "bad" side of town here in Austin; since I go through this area so often it seems pretty normal to me. But then again pretty much everything looks like the bad side of town in Austin so I'm not sure what people think is the good side of Austin. I suppose that is something I never have to worry about, being kinda on the poor side people are less likely to steal your stuff since most of it is broken or not worth much. I think about that now and then, since my truck doesn't have windows (Well it does, it's just the window's motors are broken) or air conditioning and as one guy said, sounds like a motor boat, this makes people less likely to ever want to steal it. Which is good because I like having a truck to drive. So this is the best way to steal proof your stuff, make it undesirable at least appearance wise.

Beside eyepatch guy I had chicken hearts yesterday. They were fine, kinda on the tough side and had a slightly weird flavor. You see I mainly hang out with the international class at my church, I'm sure I've posted this somewhere before but the majority of the people in class are refugees from Burma near Thailand. Burma police/government went through and killed/forced removal of unwanted people in "their" land. Keep in mind the a large majority of people in Burma live in different tribes, with small differences of language, so communication is not the best but a lot of the people left because they didn't want to die or live in the jungle or refugee camps in Thailand where people look down on them. I don't really know the whole story but me and my mom work on the English reading and speaking of Ti-Ray, Say-May, Pray-May, and Lee-May. Oh, if you didn't pick it up, ray is used for guy, may for girl. Ti-Ray is about seventeen I think, uh, something close to that, he doesn't really know, so you know, uh, I get Pray-May and Say-May's age's mixed up but both are married and one is about twenty with a daughter and goes to high school while the other is older with a few children under her belt. The ones who go to school have much better English then anyone else really. I think they have been in America for like three years maybe? Anyway it was Angelina's first birthday party who is the daughter of the girl who goes to high school that I had the cooked chicken hearts at, the food was pretty good, and I really liked the spicy noodles. Most of the people who attend my international class at church were there and it was really crowded. My mom made a lovely white and brown bunny cake for Angelina's party and it went over well because it was not to sweet. I think most Asians aren't into sweets as much as we think. It was kinda funny though Ti-Ray and his sister were passing out food and me and my mom asked what they were and they said they didn't know. Mystery food, one was a baby burrito that was really good but it fell off my plate so I tossed it, the other was a slimy greens wrap thing, that I didn't really like.

That was my day of adventure, what was yours?
